Workshop on How to Prepare a CV for a Specific Job Application
Are you feeling frustrated by the lack of response to your job applications? Struggling to showcase your achievements and skills effectively on your CV and cover letter? Perhaps you’re doubting your suitability for positions due to limited experience or considering a switch to a different field? If any of this sounds familiar, then you’re not alone! Many current students and graduates encounter these obstacles as they navigate their early career journeys! On April 24, Wednesday, at 16:00–17:30 we invite you to participate in the workshop “How to tailor your experience for a specific job-application?” and discuss all the ins and outs of how to get ready for a job-searching journey. The event will take place at VMU dormitory “Baltija” (Vytauto pr. 71 - room 102 (choir hall).

We invite you to propose topics for the International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference "History, Culture and Heritage of Manors in Central and Eastern Europe" to be held at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Kaunas, Lithuania on 24-26 April 2025.

A Lecture by Ambassador of Sweden Lars Wahlund will take place at VMU
Continuing the beautiful tradition of lectures by the Swedish ambassadors to Lithuania during the Scandinavian Days in Kaunas, Ambassador of Sweden Lars Wahlund will meet the VMU students on 25 April at 10.00 o’clock. The lecture Sweden in the Baltic Sea Region sets out to tell the story about Sweden, merging history with the contemporary geopolitical dynamics and security challenges leading up to Swedish membership in NATO.

Intensive Erasmus Program Invited Students to Discover Cultures
On 8–12 April, VMU was bustling with international students who participated in a blended intensive Erasmus program (BIP). The program, organized by the European university alliance Transform4Europe and the VMU Institute of Foreign Languages, attracted undergraduate students from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Spain.

Vytautas Magnus Univesity (VMU) V. Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute invites early career researchers (PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, junior researchers) to a workshop on developing a successful career in and outside academic settings. The workshop will take place on May 16, 10:00 a.m.

VMU to Host Idea of Europe Forum
On Friday 26 April, 2.15–4 p.m., the international Idea of Europe Forum will be held at VMU Great Hall (28 S. Daukanto g., Kaunas), which will gather the continent's heads of state, politicians, intellectuals, and scientists. The event's participants will include the presidents of Lithuania and Poland.
