Scholarships Awarded to Students for Academic or Artistic Achievements
For the second time Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) announced a competition for scholarships for scientific or artistic achievements for VMU students, which aims to encourage students to pursue scientific or artistic activities.

On April 30th, an exhibition "Noises and garbage" by Vytautas Magnus University's (VMU) professor Romualdas Požerskis was opened at VMU Art Gallery “101”.

Registration for Elective Study Courses at Kaunas universities
Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) and Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) continue cooperation for three years now and invite students to choose and study inter-university study courses (modules) free of charge in the academic year 2024-2025.

The DON@ Project’s Multiplier Event focuses on Student Integration
On April 22, 2024, VMU's DON@ team representatives organized the International Multiplier Event for the DON@ Donation Opportunities for Newcomer Students project. The event occurred during International Staff Week 2024, bringing together academic and administrative attendees from various universities and countries. The meeting gathered representatives from Japan, Ukraine, Argentina, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Kenya, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Korea, Italy, Turkey, Mauritius, Tanzania, Armenia, Malaysia, Brazil, Moldova, and many more.

Belarusian Politician Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to Visit VMU
On May 6, 2024, at 11:15, Belarusian politician Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will visit Vytautas Magnus University (V. Putvinskio str. 23-311, Kaunas). During the meeting with the academic community, S. Tsikhanouskaya will deliver a speach on Regional Stability: The Role of Democratic Belarus in Ensuring Security in Eastern Europe. The aim of the lecture will be to evaluate the role of Belarus in the context of regional stability and security in Eastern Europe, especially considering the country’s political situation and democratization opportunities. The lecture will analyze how internal political and economic factors of Belarus can affect regional stability, as well as evaluate its potential role in the democratic form in Eastern Europe.
