Students are invited to apply for the Drs. V. and S. Čepukėnai Scholarship by filling in the application form on VMU Student Portal until March 31st.

On February 28 2025 the first online seminar took place from the Series “New Eastern European Diasporas: Exploring Migration, Exile, and Integration”. The initiative was founded by a group of researchers from the VMU Emigration Institute in response to a need from European scientific community interested in comparing experiences of Eastern European diasporas.
Stylist Viktorija Šaulytė-Mockė: After School, University Seemed Like a Foreign Country
Prominent stylist, actress, and social media influencer Viktorija Šaulytė-Mockė launched her career while still studying at the university. During her Creative Industries lectures at VMU she met fellow student Joringis Šatas, with whom she founded the brand ŠaŠa.
