Training about Refugee Rights and Cultural Diversity
The Refugee Council of Lithuania invites members of VMU community to participate in training about refugee rights and cultural diversity. The training will take place on the 10th and 26th of November.

Opening of the Exhibition “Images of Diversity”
The Embassy of Romania to the Republic of Lithuania and Vytautas Magnus University have the pleasure to invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Images of Diversity": an artistic collection by 34 Romanian painters, photographers, sculptors and graphic artists, coming from 21 ethnic minority groups. The exhibition proposes a visual journey into the beauty of diversity, seen through artistic lenses.
VMU library enriched with new books about Latvia
In 2021 marking the centenary of Latvia’s state recognition de jure, the National Library of Latvia donated to Vytautas Magnus University a collection of books representing Latvian history, art, literature, ethnic and contemporary culture. The books are published in English, so their content will be available to a wide range of readers.
Nearly 30 Honorable Guests to Discuss Lithuanian–Russian Relations
Nearly 30 honorable guests from Great Britain, the US, Russia, Germany, Spain, France and the Netherlands will be visiting Lithuania on October 28–29. Former ambassadors, politicians, journalists and scientists will attend the conference “30 years diplomatic relations Lithuania-Russia: Are good-neighborly relations possible?"
World Lithuanian Communities’ Forum took place at VMU
Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), which has maintained a close relationship with the Lithuanian Diaspora for more than three decades, invited members of world Lithuanian communities, academics, politicians, teachers and pupils of Lithuanian schools, representatives of Lithuanian organizations that unite world Lithuanians and everyone interested in getting to know the Lithuanian Diaspora better, for a discussion.
