These workshops will provide an opportunity to delve into cultural heritage and its management in contemporary Europe, exploring its various dimensions – local, regional, national, and European.

The 14th Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture will be the first Transform4Europe Summer School for Early-Stage Researchers. Organised under the theme ‘Culture at War’, the event will take place between 24 and 29 June 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal.

VMU Visit to Mariupol State University

In mid-May, a delegation from Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) visited Ukraine, participating in a strategic session organized by Mariupol State University in Lviv. The VMU delegation included Rector Juozas Augutis, Transform4Europe institutional coordinator Prof. Ineta Dabašinskienė, and activity coordinators Tomas Mickevičius and Kateryna Horiunova.

On 22nd and 23rd May, universities of Primorska and Trieste invite the communities of VMU and other member universities of the Transform4Europe Alliane to watch seminars online. The seminars will be dedicated to the topics of open science and inclusion.

Intensive German Language Courses for Students

Saarland University invites students of VMU and other Transform4Europe alliance's universities to participate in intensive German language courses. Two types of courses are offered: in September, on-site course will be organized at Saarland University in Germany, while in October, an online course will be organized. Participant registration is open until 2 June.

Intensive Erasmus Program Invited Students to Discover Cultures

On 8–12 April, VMU was bustling with international students who participated in a blended intensive Erasmus program (BIP). The program, organized by the European university alliance Transform4Europe and the VMU Institute of Foreign Languages, attracted undergraduate students from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Spain.
