Registration for T4EU Course Offer at BA Level (to be updated)
The university network Transform4Europe once again invites students to choose its track courses for bachelor students which aim to train a new generation of young Europeans who will work together across disciplines and acquire digital, intercultural and entrepreneurial skills. This training enables you to actively shape the necessary transformation processes in Europe. Most of the courses are conducted online.
Mariupol State University’s Centre to Open at VMU
"What separates us from Russia is that we are fighting for our nation, for our people first, while they are fighting to take our lands. But people are the true treasure of this country, especially the youths. University is not walls, it's people", the Rector of Mariupol State University (MSU), Prof. Mykola Trofymenko said while participating in the event dedicated to the opening of MSU Centre at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas on October 9th.
Open Dual Lecture on Dissonant Heritage
On 17 October, 5 p.m. (EEST), the Estonian Academy of Arts (EAA) is organising an open conversation/lecture with two speakers: VMU Assoc. Prof. Dr. Linara Dovydaitytė and EAA doctoral student and junior researcher Anu Soojärv. The lecture, titled Dissonant Heritage: Re-evaluating the Soviet Legacies, will focus on the heritage of Soviet legacies. The event will be streamed online.
Winners of T4EU Innovative Teaching Award Announced
Transform4Europe Alliance has announced the winners of Innovative Teaching Award: five lecturers including VMU Assoc. Prof. Evelina Bendoraitienė.
VMU Initiated Critical Heritage Lab in Italy and Slovenia
On Monday 11 September, in the University of Trieste (Italy) and the University of Primorska (Slovenia), a new laboratory initiated by Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) was introduced, where scientists together with entrepreneurs, public activists and other social partners will carry out projects dedicated to cultural heritage. The new laboratory, Critical Heritage LAB, is one of the Transformation Labs implemented by VMU along with its partners, other members of the Transform4Europe Alliance: the Estonian Academy of Arts, Jean Monnet University, University of Trieste, and University of Primorska.
