Like every year, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) invites the entire university community – students, lecturers, and employees – to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year together.

Students are Invited to the Flag Hunting Game During Introductory Week
Flag Hunting is a survival game in which you can test your reaction, speed and creativity. During this game you not only get to know Vytautas Magnus university, and it‘s activities, but the city Kanas itself.

VMU Baltic Summer University Welcomed Students from 30 Countries
In July, over a hundred students from around the world gather in Kaunas and Vilnius to deepen their knowledge of various fields or get acquainted with Lithuania: here, they not only attend lectures and practical seminars but also spend time with Lithuanian families, taste national dishes, sing local songs, watch Lithuanian movies, and travel around the country. These and many other activities are offered by Baltic Summer University.

VMU Students Were Awarded Nominal Scholarships by R1 Lietuva
On 26 st of June, Senate meeting took place at Vytautas Magnus University.

‘Mikoshi Guy’. Film Premiere and Discussion with Nobuya Miyata
VMU Centre for Asian Studies together with Asitaski and Embassy of Japan in Lithuania invites everyone to the premiere of the movie “Mikoshi Guy” in Lithuania. The screening of the movie will take place on 17th of June, 6 p.m., at VMU Centre for Research and Studies (V. Putvinskio st. 23, Kaunas, Room 103).

Documentary and discussion about Kaunas-Japan relations
Those who have not yet been able to see the picturesque documentary about the relationship between Kaunas and Japan are welcome to the screening of the documentary “Kaunas, the City of Sugihara and Japan”. The event will be taking place on February 7th, 5:30 PM at Vytautas Magnus University, room 103, V. Putvinskio st. 23, Kaunas.
