International Celebration of Students’ Creations to be Held at VMU
On Friday 6 May, 5–8 p.m., international celebration of students' creations, "Europe in the City: Kaunas", will be held at the VMU Centre for Research and Studies (23 V. Putvinskio g., Kaunas).

VMU to Hold Online Events for Those Interested in MA Studies
On 26 April, Vytautas Magnus University will host an event for students "I got the degree ... What's next?". The virtual meetings will invite you to get acquainted with the master's degree study programs offered by Vytautas Magnus University. Participants are invited to register online in advance. Please note that the schedule of all activities is shown in local Lithuanian time (GMT+3), make sure to convert it to your time zone.

Psychological Support Platform has been Established for Ukrainians
In response to the terrible situation in Ukraine, the Global Initiative on Psychiatry (FGIP) and partners are developing a psychological support platform for Ukrainians. The platform aims to provide guidance to the public and mental health professionals on how to deal with the psychological consequences of the war. Emotional support groups for Ukrainian students are also organised by the VMU Psychology Clinic.

We Must Be Prepared to Take Responsibility for Our Freedom
"The COVID-19 pandemic, increasingly aggressive totalitarian regimes and the global emigration caused by poverty and despair make us stop and think about our values. I believe that Freedom is one of the greatest values for any person. We have to talk about Freedom, learn Freedom, protect Freedom and enjoy Freedom again and again," said Algirdas Kaušpėdas, writer, architect and leader of the legendary band Antis, during the opening of the VMU Lithuanian Language and Culture Winter Course.
