Indonesian students are amazed by the beauty of Lithuania

Starting in 2021, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) has entered into very important cooperation with Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) programme. In 2023 IISMA has 67 partners in 25 countries with 1150 Awardees. VMU is the only university in Lithuania that has entered this unique cooperation framework.

Symbolic Run Unites Ukrainians and Supporters of Ukraine

On Saturday, 26 August, a Ukrainian solidarity run was held at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) Botanical Garden. The symbolic event, which took place at the juncture of two important dates – the Independence Day of Ukraine (24 August) and the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine (27 August) – attracted around fifty students from Ukraine, Lithuania, and other foreign countries.

VMU representatives visited the Republic of Azerbaijan

On 9-11 of March, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) representatives visited Baku, Azerbaijan. The goal of the visit was to strengthen the partnerships with the current partner universities, meet with the VMU alumni community, and presented the study opportunities for students from Azerbaijan.

VMU Students Attended Mobility Weeks in Germany and Italy

Recently, three VMU students had the opportunity to attend mobility weeks in Italy and Germany. This allowed them to get acquainted with new study opportunities and innovative companies in those two countries as well as their culture and history. Both events were organized by the Transform4Europe Alliance.

VMU organised the first Disability Inclusion Forum

This year, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) organised the first ever Disability Inclusion Forum 2022. As the University implements the Disability Inclusion Policy and seeks to increase the accessibility of higher education for students with disabilities, it has become more and more important to talk about the needs, experiences and challenges of students with disabilities in the study process.
