VMU Community is Invited to Attend the Study Subject “Econometrics”
In the spring semester, the study subject "Econometrics" will be taught remotely to international bachelor students at the Faculty of Bioeconomy Development of Vytautas Magnus University Agricultural Academy (VDU AA). The lecturer is professor dr. Vesa Niskanen, University of Helsinki, Finland. We invite VMU employees and students to listen to this study subject.

Open Competition for University Fee Exemptions for Spring Semester
Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) has launched an open competition for university fee exemptions for spring semester of the academic year 2022/2023. The purpose of the competition is to achieve the mission of socially responsible university by reducing social exclusion, creating appropriate financial conditions for VMU students to be accommodated and (or) study (taking into account different social (material) situations, study results and (or) accommodation in the dormitory).

Conference on Media and Information Literacy will take place at VMU
Media and Information literacy may be considered one of the essential 21st-century skills. Teaching media and information literacy provides teachers and students with literacy skills such as information literacy and technology literacy that will help them understand and analyze media. It also cultivates such learning skills as critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication.

VMU Presents a Unique Platform for Alumni
Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) presents a new interactive platform specifically for alumni called "VMU alumni ID". The purpose of this platform is to maintain and strengthen mutual relations with VMU alumni who are scattered all over the world. The platform will give graduates the opportunity to use the services and benefits provided by the university and to follow the relevant news of the university and alumni.

Registration for Transform4Europe Course Offer at Bachelor Level
The university network Transform4Europe invites students to choose its track courses for bachelor students which aim to train a new generation of young Europeans who will work together across disciplines and acquire digital, intercultural and entrepreneurial skills. This training enables you to actively shape the necessary transformation processes in Europe. Most of the courses are conducted online.

Online Seminar on Gender Equality in Organisations
On Tuesday, 31 January, at 2 p.m., a seminar titled “Promoting Gender Equality in Organisations: Approaches and Practices” will be hosted by Vytautas Magnus University (VMU). The seminar will be held online, and previous registration is needed. All registered participants will receive attendance certificates.

Submissions for nominations for the President Valdas Adamkus Prize begin on 20 January. The Prize of the Valdas Adamkus Presidential Library-Museum and Dana Gedvila Fund will be awarded for laudable and noteworthy achievements and efforts to protect and restore the natural environment in Lithuania and its neighbouring countries, and to ensure the sustainability of resources.
