VMU Community’s Christmas

The centennial of the University of Lithuania has brought us many beautiful opportunities to spend time and celebrate together. This has been a very special year, and I invite everyone to come together on 22 December 2022 to celebrate the upcoming holidays and our common achievements, to enjoy a concert by the VMU Chamber Orchestra and, most importantly, to spend time together. After all, Christmas is special when we celebrate it together.

22 December 2022, VMU Great Hall (S. Daukanto g. 28, Kaunas)

3 p.m.        Opening of the photography exhibition “100 Years – 100 Faces” by Jonas Petronis

3.15 p.m. Awarding of medals of the 100th anniversary of the University of Lithuania to members of the community 

4.00 p.m.   Concert by the VMU Chamber Orchestra

Soloist – Eugenijus Chrebtovas (baritone)
In the concert “Awaiting Christmas”, the orchestra, which celebrates its eleventh anniversary this year, will perform not only classical masterpieces and Christmas carols, but also world-renowned songs and original works by Eugenijus Chrebtovas.

4.45 p.m.    Premiere of the video clip “VDU 100s” by Titas Petrikis  

5 p.m.          Feast
