A session of the European Culture Parliament
On 8-11 September, Vytautas Magnus University will host a session of the European Culture Parliament. The European Culture Parliament brings together independent artists, writers, painters, musicians, historians, philosophers, designers, architects and other cultural representatives from different European countries.
The session, which is open to all cultural operators and everyone from the city and Lithuania, will discuss a wide range of topical issues related to Europe and its culture, including but not limited to, the role of universities in the European Capitals of Culture and European culture in general, as well as the currently highly relevant issues of cultural diplomacy and the role of culture at the times of war.
The event will be held in English.
The event is part of the Kaunas – European Capital of Culture 2022 programme.
