VMU – Open Competition for Teaching and Research Staff Positions

Vytautas Magnus University announces an open competition for teaching and research staff positions. List of open positions.

Those wishing to take part in the competition are kindly requested to provide the following documents:

• Application‘
• CV;
• Certificate confirming academic and scientific work/artistic activity experience (for VMU employees – the Certificate is issued by the Human Resources Department and for the employees of other Institutions – the responsible Department at that Institution);
• Copies of diplomas and certificates confirming scientific degrees and academic titles;
• A list of scientific publications and scientific activity according to a given form:
  • Fields of Natural Sciences, Technology and Agricultural Sciences (list of scientific publications in English)
  • Fields of Humanities and Social Sciences (list of scientific publications in English)
  • Fields of Humanitiesand Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technology and Agricultural Sciences (list of scientific activity in English)
• List of artistic (creative) activities according to a given form and recommendations of professional artists;
• When applying for the researcher‘s position – a 5 (five) year preliminary plan of scientific activities.
• Candidates applying for teaching and research staff positions must approve the mandatory competences for the career stages of researchers at research and higher education institutions.
