Take Part in a Blood Donation Campaign – Become a Donor!
The National Blood Centre together with VMU invites members of the university community to take part in the blood donation campaign! Date and time: September 12th, 10:00-15:30. Location: K. Donelaičio str. 52, Kaunas.
Blood donation is one of the simplest and most effective ways to help those who need it most. The procedure is painless, and you will be able to find out your blood type, and haemoglobin level and receive a gift!
What do you need to become a blood donor?
- Only a completely healthy person aged 18 or over can donate blood.
- It is advisable to have a light meal, plenty of fluids, rest, and sleep before coming to give blood.
- You must bring your identity document with you (a Lithuanian student ID card is suitable).
