Important Information about the Study Process
Dear community of Vytautas Magnus University, in response to the increasingly complicated situation in Lithuania due to the risk of COVID-19, based on the recommendations by the Minister of Education, Science, and Sports, the Minister of Health, and the state-level emergency operations manager regarding the remote implementation of the study process by higher education institutions, and after taking into account the proposals by the academic subdivisions of VMU regarding the organisation of studies, the following changes will be introduced in the organisation of studies and work at Vytautas Magnus University:

Meeting with a former Lithuania’s Ambassador to China
After some break we come back with another “Time for Asia” event. This time it is a remote meeting with Ina Marčiulionytė who was Lithuania’s ambassador to China from 2015 to 2020. The meeting will take place online on October 22nd (Thursday), 14:30 and will be conducted in Lithuanian language.

Japanese Culture Fair at VMU
We would like to invite you to spend the Sugihara Week’s Japanese Culture Fair by immersing yourself in the hustle and bustle of Japanese culture and learning more about Japan’s friends in Lithuania. The fair will take place on October 13, 10:00-16:00 at 3rd floor of Kaunas Akropolis. It is free and open to all.

University Fees Exemptions Were Awarded for Students
VMU publishes the results of an open competition for university fee exemptions for Autumn semester 2020/2021. The purpose of the competition is to achieve the mission of socially responsible university by reducing social exclusion, creating appropriate financial conditions for VMU students to be accommodated and (or) study (taking into account different social (material) situations, study results and (or) accommodation in the dormitory).

Stand for election to the Dormitory‘s Council
Vytautas Magnus University, has announced the election to the dormitory Council, which is organized in accordance to VMU Dormitory Self-government regulations.

Enter and Change your Bank Account no. on the Student Portal
We would like to inform you that from now on, on the Student Portal (studentas.vdu.lt), in the Student profile section, together with other personal data you can provide information on your personal bank account no. of Lithuanian bank and make changes of it if an error has occurred or the account number has changed.
