An invite to a different Spring Festival 2021
“Self-realization during self-isolation” – with this year’s Spring Festival’s slogan Vytautas Magnus University Student Council (VMU SC) is inviting people to spice up their routine on May 12-15: experience, feel, remember.

Changes in the Library from April 22
From April 22nd the Library provides item loan / return services, L. Donskis Library (V. Putvinskio St. 23, Kaunas), Agriculture Academy Central Library (Studentų St. 11, Akademija, Kaunas district), Education Academy Library (T. Ševčenkos St. 31, Vilnius) and Music Academy Library (V. Čepinskio St. 5-429, Kaunas) are also opened for a limited number of users. During the quarantine period, services are provided only to the community of Vytautas Magnus University. According to the decision of the Head of State operations, the library can be filled with 30% of seats at a time, mandatory 2 m. distance.

VMU First-year Student Survey Results
The survey of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) bachelor and integrated studies’ first-year students was conducted in January – February of 2021. The aim was to identify the reasons for their study choices, expectations and opinion about the studies they had chosen as well as the activities they had been involved in.

The New Strategy of VMU Pays Attention to the Graduates
In December, 2020, the Council of Vytautas Magnus university (VMU) approved University’s strategy for 2021-2027, and a plan of measures for this strategy is currently in preparations and will later be discussed at VMU Senate, finalised, and submitted to the Council. Taking into consideration overall strategy of VMU, individual departments are preparing their own strategies.

Erasmus+ Results for the 2021/2022 Academic Year
VMU International Cooperation Department has announced the results of the additional competition for Erasmus+ studies in Programme countries and Erasmus+ and Bilateral exchange studies in partner countries for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.

VMU uniting Lithuanian language enthusiasts from all around the globe
On the 17th of July, the Lithuanian Language and Culture Course (VMU) will once again continue its mission of uniting Lithuanian language enthusiasts from all around the globe. The course is beloved by global Lithuanian community members, people tracing their family tree, and foreigners who want to learn more about the rich and interesting Lithuanian history, as well as possibly… talk to their Lithuanian partner in his or her mother tongue.
