Doctoral Studies & Transform4Europe: current and future opportunities
As an alliance of seven European universities Transform4Europe offers many new opportunities for doctoral students at partner institutions. On offer is not only the development of the most important career competencies, the opportunity to gain international experience and to get acquainted with the best international practices, and innovative methods. It is also a chance to build one’s own academic networks for junior researchers that in the long run can become an opportunity for continuing academic partnership.
Transform4Europe held its First Strategic Assembly Meeting
At the beginning of December 2021, the Transform4Europe European University Alliance held its first Strategic Assembly Meeting. The event was open to all members of the seven Transform4Europe partner universities and aimed at reflecting on the work of the Alliance, looking ahead and answering questions.
Conference on Alliances in Higher Education transformation
How boldly should we innovate European education? What transformational changes does higher education need to go through? Vytautas Magnus university (VMU) together with other Lithuanian higher education institutions would like to invite you to watch the online event “Higher education transformation: alliances as a strategic direction“. The event will be held online on the 9th of December, 9:00 – 12:30 (CET).

The Transform4Europe Chair Exchange Initiative will contribute to an enhanced and more structured teaching staff mobility. A Transform4Europe Chair is a teaching position on a topic relevant to the Alliance priority areas.
Transform4Europe Strategic Assembly Meeting will Take Place Online
The very first Transform4Europe Strategic Assembly will take place on Friday, 3 December 2021, from 9.00–10.45 and we warmly welcome you to take part in it. The Alliance has now already been working for one year and we have already achieved so much by collaborating with each other – the Strategic Assembly offers the perfect setting to celebrate, reflect and discuss this first year. Our excellent speakers will present exciting input on the work of the alliance, as you can see in the agenda.
VMU held a Strategic Communication Workshop for Transform4Europe
VMU Transform4Europe team organized a Strategic Communication Workshop to discuss the ambitious goals of the Alliance and the ways to implement them. The workshop took place on November 19th and was attended by VMU academic and non-academic staff, Transform4Europe alliance coordinators and student representatives.
