Free Screening of Following the Jäger Report
The Andrei Sakharov Research Center for Democratic Development and Jewish Heritage Lithuania warmly invite you to a free screening of the documentary Following the Jäger Report, followed by a discussion.
This powerful film explores a lesser-known part of Holocaust history in Lithuania: the fate of Jewish communities from small towns (shtetls), where only one in a hundred survived. Director Boris Maftsir travels across Lithuania searching for answers to a difficult question: how did centuries of shared Jewish–Lithuanian life fracture so tragically during the Soviet occupation and Nazi era?
