Gediminas founded Freya company after having conducted aerosol nutrition experiments as part of his Biochemistry degree. Freya Cultivation Systems is an AgTech pioneer based in Lithuania, committed to transforming the landscape of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). Founded by a dynamic team of young scientists, Freya has quickly established itself as a leader in precision irrigation technology, with a focus on creating sustainable, high-yield solutions for the modern greenhouse industry.
Gediminas Kudirka, graduate, CSO of Baltic Freya company
During her studies, she became an experienced experimenter and expert in the field of metabolic processes, capillary chromatography, and electrochromatography. She successfully used the knowledge she gained at Vytautas Magnus University in her further work and is currently continuing successful scientific research, implementing national and international projects at the Lithuanian Research Center for Agriculture and Forestry
Academician Dr. Giedrė Samuolienė, Head of the Plant Physiology Laboratory of Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry, Institute of Horticulture; Laureate of the Lithuanian National Science Prize
The goal of the Biochemical analysis master's degree programme is to prepare broadly educated specialists who have critical and independent thinking, openness to scientific innovations, with solid foundations for laboratory work, and the ability to independently conduct scientific research.
Prof. Rimantas Daugelavičius, Professor at the Department of Biochemistry
Partners
To acquire practical skills, students are provided with the opportunity to choose internships in various companies and institutions, collaborating with former university students and social partners. Representatives of social partners are included in the program study committee and are invited to participate in discussions and updates of the program. Representatives of individual companies and former students are invited to give lectures in the study program.
