All this can be learnt remotely, without leaving home.

From Spring 2023, 1,160 students from all faculties and academies of VMU have been awarded Coursera licences. Some students had the opportunity to choose courses that interested them, the other part – courses recommended by the teachers and integrated into their study subjects at the University. These courses have been recognized as part of the subjects taught in the VMU study programmes.

Business, information technology and innovation, data science, arts, language learning, health and personal development, physical sciences and engineering were the dominant areas from which students chose to study. When asked how they value “Coursera” courses, students who participated in the training appreciated the opportunity to learn on their own, to control the time and pace of their own learning, to develop their technical skills using different software and programming languages, to get familiar with various teaching/learning methodologies, ideas and perspectives, and to analyse the challenges and issues of business, economics and digitalisation in a changing world.

Students are invited to take advantage of the opportunities offered by “Coursera” platform to gain new knowledge from top-level professional teachers and experts in their field from around the world.
