VMU Rector Met with the U.S. Secretary of State in Kyiv

On 14 May, the Rector of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), Prof. Juozas Augutis, met with the U.S. Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, during his visit to Kyiv, Ukraine.

The meeting, which also included Mykola Trofymenko, Rector of Mariupol State University – which continues to operate in Kyiv due to the ongoing war – focused on providing support to Mariupol University and Ukraine, as well as discussing VMU’s history and the importance and role of the Lithuanian diaspora in the United States.
