Transform4Europe: Representatives of VMU visited University of Silesia

In October two delegations of Vytautas Magnus University visited European University, Transform4Europe Alliance partner: the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland).

During the first visit, VMU was represented by a wide-profile delegation consisting of representatives of various faculties, representatives of Studies Department and Transform4Europe coordinators. The alliance partners and representatives of VMU discussed the most urgent issues, such as new research models, the perspectives of setting up joint master’s programs, and emerging research opportunities, VMU representatives also visited laboratories and research centres.

During the second visit, VMU was represented by Head of Erasmus+ mobility unit and by Transform4Europe coordinator. During the visit VMU representatives had chance to familiarize with the overall activities of the Department of International Relations at University of Silesia in Katowice and to discuss a new multidisciplinary Erasmus+ agreement and new mobility patterns. Also, during the visit VMU representatives met with University of Silesia Transform4Europe team, where they shared their experiences while working with alliance matters, discussed most urgent objectives and goals.

VMU is also planning another visit within Transform4Europe alliance in November. This time VMU representatives will be visiting University of Trieste in Italy.
