Registration for Sports and Arts Activities Has Started

Students of Vytautas Magnus University are invited to register and join the art and/or sports activities organised by VMU Sports and Arts Centres in the autumn semester of 2021/2022.

All students of VMU, regardless of where and what they are studying (e.g., if you are studying Public Communication, you can join the folk music band “Ūkininkas” of VMU Agriculture Academy).

The activities are free for VMU students, and university alumni are also welcome to join in. You can register for several activities, so you are welcome to join the activities offered by VMU and get actively involved in the activities of the Sports and Arts Centres.

If you register for a specific VMU Arts and Sports Centres team or sports activity, you can start attending it from 13^th of September.

IMPORTANT: please be informed, that in order to participate in the activities of the Sports or Arts Centre, you must have a National Certificate; The EU Digital COVID Certificate; or any other medical document proving that you are fully vaccinated or a document from a medical establishment confirming the recovery of COVID-19 disease (coronavirus infection) confirmed by a positive result of a SARS-CoV-2 PCR test.

Registration for art activities

All VMU students, who are willing to dance, sing or play instruments at one of VMU Arts Centre artistic groups in Kaunas, Akademija (Kaunas District) or Vilnius has to register for activities by logging into the Students Self-service portal. In the section “Registration” / “Arts Centre activities”, students have to choose a preferred artistic group and press the button “Enroll”.

REGISTRATION: Students who are willing to act, dance, sing or play at one of the VMU Arts Centre groups based in Kaunas, Academy (Kaunas district) or Vilnius has to register for activities by logging into the student self-service portal and selecting the Registration / Arts Centre Teams tab in the menu bar. In the bar that appears, select the desired collective and click on the Enrol button. University graduates who wish to participate in the artistic activities should contact the leaders of the groups.

If you have registered for the VMU Arts Centre’s ensemble classes, they can be found at the top of the Registration / Arts Centre Ensembles section of the student portal. You can also opt out of the activities of selected groups in the portal.

Registration for Sports activities

REGISTRATION: All VMU students who want to participate in sports at the VMU Sports Centre facilities (Studentų str. 11, Akademija, Kaunas district) can register for the sports activity classes, which will be available from 13 September.

Students wishing to register for VMU Sports Centre activity classes should log in to the student self-service portal and select the Registration / Sports classes tab from the menu bar. In this section, select the desired sport, the group it offers, the time and the day and click on the Enrol button. University graduates wishing to participate in sports activities should contact the coaches of the activities.

The student will see the classes of the sports he/she has registered for in the student portal, at the top of the Registration / Sports classes section. Withdrawal from the selected activities is also possible in the student portal.
