This report, D3.3, is one of eight country-specific studies presenting the results of focus group discussions conducted as part of Work Package 3 (WP3) of the Horizon Europe project DIACOMET – Fostering Capacity Building for Civic Resilience and Participation: Dialogic Communication Ethics and Accountability. In total, 87 focus group discussions were held across Austria, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Switzerland. Over 500 participants took part in these discussions, reflecting on the ethics of public communication and the media environment in their respective countries. The findings are presented in national reports, each prepared independently by the respective country team. This report offers a comprehensive analysis of how civil society actors in Lithuania perceive and reflect on the media environment, public communication landscape and ethical standards and responsibilities in their country. Drawing on qualitative data from 14 focus group discussions with a total of 72 participants, it highlights public perceptions of major issues and challenges, ethical tensions and expectations regarding evolving media and communication settings.

The world is rapidly changing, and climate change is no longer a distant threat—it is a reality with growing impacts. Aquaculture, a vital part of the global food system, is particularly vulnerable. As a key source of protein and a model for sustainable food production, it must adapt to rising temperatures, ocean acidification, disease outbreaks, and other environmental pressures. This publication explores how climate change affects aquaculture and presents strategies for ensuring its resilient and ethical development. It covers innovative solutions such as recirculating systems (RAS), integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA), improved feeding practices, and biotechnological approaches. More than technologies, this is about people—students, educators, farmers, and researchers—working together to shape a sustainable blue future. Developed under the Erasmus+ project "The Digital Blue Career for a Post-Carbon Future", the publication invites readers to think critically and act responsibly. In the face of climate change, aquaculture is both a challenge and an opportunity.
