Paauglių fizinio aktyvumo ir fizinio raštingumo sąsajosItem type:Publication, [Links between physical activity and physical literacy in adolescent students]research article[2024][S4][S007][6]; Sporto mokslas / Sport Science, 2024, no. 1(105), p. 40-45Be fizinio raštingumo ir fizinio aktyvumo sunku įsivaizduoti bet kokią sportinę veiklą, kur būtų pasiektas sėkmingas rezultatas, įgyvendinti tikslai ir uždaviniai. Sprendžiant ugdymo iššūkius mokyklos siekia ugdyti sąmoningą mokinių požiūrį į fizinį raštingumą ir fizinį aktyvumą. Šio tyrimo tikslas – atskleisti paauglių fizinio aktyvumo ir fizinio raštingumo sąsajas. Tyrimo objektas – fizinio aktyvumo ir raštingumo sąsajos. Tyrimo subjektas – 5–12 klasių mokiniai (mergaitės ir berniukai). Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1) įvertinti mokinių fizinio aktyvumo lygį atsižvelgiant į paauglių lytį ir amžių; 2) įvertinti mokinių fizinio raštingumo lygį atsižvelgiant į paauglių lytį ir amžių; 3) atskleisti mokinių fizinio aktyvumo ir fizinio raštingumo sąsajas atsižvelgiant į paauglių lytį ir amžių. Tyrimo metodai: literatūros šaltinių analizė; anketinė apklausa; kiekybinis tyrimas – apklausa raštu (anketa / klausimynas); statistinė tyrimo duomenų analizė pasitelkiant SPSS 29 versijos programą. Fiziniam aktyvumui nustatyti buvo naudojamas tarptautinis Paauglių fizinio aktyvumo klausimynas (angl. International Physical Activity Questionnaire for children and adolescents) (PAQ-C PAQ-A). Fiziniam raštingumui nustatyti buvo naudojamas tarptautinis Paauglių fizinio raštingumo klausimynas (angl. Perceived Physical Literacy Instrument questionnaire in adolescents). Remiantis tyrimu darytina išvada, kad jaunesni vaikinai ir merginos bus fiziškai aktyvesni nei vyresnės merginos, tačiau fizinio raštingumo žinios vyresniųjų paauglių bus išreikštos aukštesniu lygiu.
52 Vyresniojo amžiaus paauglių (14–19 m.) fizinio aktyvumo raiškaItem type:Publication, [Physical activity of adolescents between the age of 14 – 19 years]research article[2021][S4][S007][6]; ; Sporto mokslas / Sport Science, 2021, no. 2, p. 14-19Scientific literature have shown that in Lithuania, as in most European countries, insufficient physical activity has been recorded in all age groups. Inadequate physical activity leads to health problems such as obesity, heart disease, stress, anxiety. Therefore, it is important to conduct research to analyse the physical activity of adolescents. Research object: physical activity of adolescents; research objective: to reveal physical activity of students aged between 14 and 19 years, in terms of age, gender and family social status. Research methods and material: research sample consisted of 205 adolescents from Vytautas Magnus Gymnasium. A survey was used as a method to conduct the study data, where the adolescents had to answer 8 questions related to physical activity in their free time, at school and back home in a span of a week. After conducting the survey data, the aim was to reveal physical activity in terms of gender, age and family social status. SPSS program version 25 was used to calculate the data of the study. Research findings: it was found that boys were more physically active than girls both at school and upon returning home from school (p < 0.05). No statistically significant differences were found between groups on the other subscales. Comparing adolescents aged between 14 and 16 and 17–19 years, younger adolescents were found to be more physically active in all subscales, statistically significant differences were reported (p from 0.000 to 0.041). During the analysis of the data, it was hypothesized that the social situation of the adolescent family has influence on the physical activity of the adolescent, however, after calculating the data obtained, the hypothesis was not confirmed, considering there was no statistically significant data found (p > 0.05).[...]
69 154 Vyresniojo amžiaus paauglių fizinis aktyvumas COVID-19 pandemijos metuItem type:Publication, [Physical activity of senior adolescents during global spread of COVID-19 virus]research article[2021][S4][S007][6]; Sporto mokslas / Sport Science, 2021, no. 1, p. 17-22Physical activity of Lithuanian students has already reached a critical level and, compared to the physical activity levels of students from other European countries, Lithuania ranks penultimate, surpassing only Slovakia, and physical activity in adolescents in Lithuania is one of the lowest among EU countries – only 10% (Ministry of Health, 2020). Such statistics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania is supported by the data of the World Health Organization (WHO). Corona-virus (COVID-19) is a deadly, previously unknown virus officially called COVID-19. From the Chinese city of Wuhan in late December 2019, the virus spread rapidly not only in Asia but also on other continents. A virus similar to the cause of Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) has claimed millions of lives. The universal quarantine announced in the country has had a significant impact on the physical activity of all people, including children and adolescents. The aim of this study was to investigate the physical activity of students during the global spread of COVID-19 virus. The object of the research is the physical activity of adolescents. The research subject is 18–19 year old students (girls and boys N = 77). Objectives of the study: 1. To reveal the physical activity of adolescents by gender. 2. Find out how many adolescents are physically active depending on where they live. 3. To find out the expression of adolescents’ physical activity in terms of social status. Research methods used in this research: analysis of scientific literature, questionnaire survey, statistical analysis of research data. The results of the study revealed that the physical activity of adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic is extremely low. The mean of the values is less than 2.13 points (on a 5-point scale). Conclusions: 1. Boys were more physically active than the girls. [...]
