Approximately 92 % of the learners like working in groups. Following the results of technology teachers' survey, it can be stated that cooperative teaching/learning methods create conditions for school learners' integration into society: enable learners to develop communications skills (35 %) and develop their friendliness and tolerance (27 %). According to «nool learners, these methods stimulate their self-dependent work (52 %), teach them collaboration (24 %). The biggest problem faced by technology teachers while applying cooperative teaching/leaning skills and to maintain discipline (37 %) and to evaluate work of each child (25%). 18 % of the school learners in the survey think that teacher has to be a consultant and 10 % of the respondents think that a as to organise the teaching process.
The article analyses the opinions of technology teachers and school learners about possibili- for choosing and application of cooperative learning/teaching methods, their influence on Drocess of education during lessons of technologies. The role of educator applying cooperative learning/teaching methods was researched. The sample of the research included 108 respondents from schools of Vilnius district: 24 teachers and 84 learners. The article analyses the opinion of technology teachers and 7th-10th formers about possibilities for choice of cooperative teaching/learning methods and their application, about their effect on the process of education during lessons of technologies. The role of educator applying cooperative teaching/learning methods was investigated. The sample of the research included 24 technology teachers of different pedagogical qualifications and 84 learners from basic and secondary schools of Vilnius district. The communication is essential in the modern society of the 21st century. The empiric research showed that cooperative teaching/learning methods are popular during lessons of technologies: about 96 % of the teachers expressed such opinion. The majority of the technology teachers in the survey use teaching/learning in groups (37 %) and discussion (29 %). About 12 % of the respondents use debates in their lessons and 10 % marked the answer "jigsaw", 9 % of the respondents apply the method of mutual teaching/learning. Other active participation methods (corners, "Round table" and "Turn the wheel", say and ask) are applied by 2 % of the teachers in the survey. The bigger popularity of theses methods is observed in 9th -10th forms.
