Field experiments were carried out in 2009 and 2010 at the Experimental Station of Lithuanian University of -__-iculture. The objective of this investigations was to determine the influence of long-term recroping of winter rye on weed seed-bank and soil enzymes urease and saccharase activity. Soil - Endocalcari-Epihypogleyic Cambisol. The highest amount of weed seeds was observed in the soil of long-term recroped winter rye with mineral fertilizers. [he highest activity of urease was observed in the soil of long-term recroped winter rye without mineral fertilizers irh herbicides. The highest activity of saccharase was observed in the soil of long-term recroped 1 mineral fertilizers and spraying with herbicides. The activity of soil urease directly depended on the ; of humus (r = 0.65T P < 0.01).
