Abstract
Soil tillage are hard and expensive, therefore soil tillage reduction is very important for farmers. The objective of our investigations was to evaluate and to compare results of straw incorporation and of different soil tillage intensity and direct sowing on spring rape productivity. Stationary two factor field experiment was carried out in the Experimental station of Lithuanian University of Agriculture. Straw incorporation has not influence on spring rape germination, crop density and yield. Shallow spring rotovation without and with catch crop and direct drilling, to compare with deep ploghing, reduced intensity of spring rape germination and crop dencity. Shallow ploughing, shallow cultivation in autumn and shallow rotovation in spring have not influence on spring rape yield to compare with deep ploughing. Direct drilling reduced yield 9%. shallow rotovation in spring after catch crop - 17%.
