Abstract (en)
Infection of lopped trees growing close to the streets (Tillia cordata Mill., T. europaea L., T. platyphyllos Scop., Aesculus hippocastanum L., Acer platanoides L., A. negundo L.) by the wood-attacking fungus Schizophyllum commune and spread of the pathogen during 4 years were examined. Norway maples, small-leaved lindens and common horse-chestnuts were the most injuried trees. Large-leaved lindens and European lindens showed the resistance towards the pathogen.
