One of the important grounds of modern organizational management is the organizational culture. A much higher efficiency of activities and satisfaction of patients is noticeable in the healthcare institutions characterized by balanced culture. The aim of the study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture on activities of healthcare institutions. Materials and methods. A quantitative research (questionnaire survey) has been performed. The research covered 222 (n=222) senior employees of Klaipeda city hospital rendering secondary and tertiary personal healthcare services: 77.5 % specialists, i.e. physicians and nurses, top (0.9 %), middle (3.2 %) and low level managers (13.1 %) and specialists in other spheres (5.4 %). Most part of the respondents (35.1 %) were 41-50 year old employees, 63.5 % of the respondents had over 16 years working experience. The questionnaire used for the survey was made in accordance with the methodological guidebook by L. Simanskiene “Methods of Organizational Culture Diagnostics”.
