Trečioje darbo dalyje įvertinamos skirtingų gyvenimo ciklo pensijų fondų tipų įvedimo galimybės Lietuvoje, taikant sudarytą metodologiją. Atlikto tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad Lietuvai šiuo metu naudingiausia būtų realizuoti gyvenimo ciklo pensijų fondų koncepciją, suformuojant multi-fondinę pensijų sistemą, kadangi, lyginant su tikslinės datos fondais, ši pensijų sistema yra paprasčiau įdiegiama, ją taikant sukaupiamas didesnis dalyvių turtas ir uţtikrinama geresnė dalyvių, esančių arti išėjimo į pensiją, sukaupto turto apsauga.

The first part of the paper defines the conception of lifecycle funds in the context of portfolio theory and life cycle finance. In this part, we review the previous literature on life cycle fund too. In the second part of the paper, the research methodology of the opportunities for the implementation of lifecycle funds in Lithuania is described. In the third part of the paper, the opportunities for the implementation of lifecycle funds of different types in Lithuania is evaluated. We find that, at the present, it is the most useful for Lithuania to implement the concept of life cycle pension funds by creating multifund system because, compared to target date funds, this system much more increases the expected value of the pensions members will receive on retiring and minimizes the risk to members who are about to retire.
