Family separation is a devastating experience which the divorced couple experiences. Family policies are significantly adding to the increase of the divorce rates. Family is mostly undervalued as one of the major factors enhancing social stability. Subject of the Thesis is up-to-date, as divorced Lithuanian Catholics by now find no niche (with exception of the largest cities) for recovery and finding themselves, with help of priests and other ministers, as children of God; they have no possibilities to participate in programs, which were grounded and centered in Jesus Christ, and therefore would give a chance to restore their self-esteem, support in spiritual struggles through liturgies for healing, and maintain their growth in faith. There is an insufficient amount of evangelization programs for the divorced. Proclaiming the Good News in the Church is indispensable, but also challenging, because ways of evangelization may differ according to time, place, and cultural backgrounds. Despite these challenges, it is necessary to proclaim God as Person in word and deeds of love, which would lead to reconciliation, sacramental life (according to Ad Gentes model), and joining in the life of Church as a community, responding to the call of Pope Benedict XVI to acquiring a Christ-centered missions and way of life itself. The Church emphasizes importance of family and marriage, but also reaches out to the separated and divorced families, inviting them to join in the pastoral practices. People who have suffered pain in life, the pain of the divorce in particular case, accept Christ in especially sincere and open manner, and personal prayer, personal relationship with God through everyday faith practices becomes vital for them.
