Ugdymo karjerai proceso ir papildomo ugdymo sąsajos, funkciniu aspektu
Borovkovė, Daiva |
Remiantis mokslinės literatūros bei dokumentų analize pastebėta, kad ugdymo karjerai proceso ir papildomo ugdymo funkcijoms, jų tarpusavio sąveikos analizei nėra pakanakamai skirta dėmesio. Taigi tyrimo problema ─ moksliškai neatskleistos ugdymo karjerai proceso ir papildomo ugdymo proceso sąsajos. Tyrimo objektas- ugdymo karjerai proceso ir papildomo ugdymo sąsajos. Tyrimo tikslas- nustatyti ugdymo karjerai proceso ir papildomo ugdymo sąsajas, funkciniu aspektu. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Atskleisti ugdymo karjerai ir papildomo ugdymo sampratas. 2. Teoriškai susieti ugdymo karjerai proceso dalių funkcijas (profesinis informavimas, profesinis veiklinimas) su papildomo ugdymo funkcijomis. 3. Išskirti papildomo ugdymo atliekamas funkcijas remiantis vyresniųjų klasių moksleivių, papildomo ugdymo būrelių vadovų, bei pirmo kurso studentų požiūriu. 4.
Based on prior research (D. E. Super (1990), R. Kučinskienė (2003), L. Jovaiša (1978)) career education should start already at school. In other words, a child hould be encouraged to analyse and know itself as a personality, a future representative of a definite profession and a society’s member. It is one of the main factors which enable a young person to successfully complete socialization, i.e. to select a profession that is congruent with his/her natural talents and aptitudes. According to Jatautaitė (1993), good self-knowledge is the first step to the proper choice of a profession. In this respect, availability of information about a profession, its requirements and the supply of undergraduate study programmes at higher education schools is very important. Professional exercises are also an inseparable part of career education as they provide a pupil with the opportunities to experience the characteristics of a certain vocation, critically reflect and realize his/her capabilities and wishes. Hence, it can be argued that one of the functions of optional training is related to the functions of career education, i.e. to facilitate learning about oneself as a personality and a representative of a definite profession, to reveal one’s individuality, to know one’s capabilities, aptitudes and interests, to develop creativity and professional skills and to expand one’s worldview. Pupils are encouraged to attain these objectives through practical activity that is related to a definite profession. The research problem is underresearched interrelations between optional training and career education. The research object is the interrelations between optional training and career education. The aim of the research is to identify the interrelations between optional training and career education from a function perspective. The research objectives are as follows: 1. to discuss and define the conceptions of career education and optional training; 2. to theoretically relate the functions of the parts of career education (e.g. vocational information, professional exercises) with the functions of optional training; 3. to distinguish the functions of optional training based on the attitudes of senior pupils, supervisors of optional training activities and first year students; 4. to explore opportunities provided by optional training, based on the attitudes of senior pupils, supervisors of optional training activities and first year students. The research methods are literature analysis, document analysis, survey and interview. The research findings indicate that the functions of optional training are directly related to the functions of vocational information and professional exercises. One of the most important functions of optional training is “preparation for economic activity, professional career”. It can be stated that it encompasses both functions of vocational information and professional exercises. Abstract or theoretical provision of the function of optional training, i. e. inexplicit methods and results of the functions realization, is the main reason for inadequate assessment. In order to make this function more explicit, it should be operationalised and more precisely defined.
