The object - spruce wood of mature trees from Dubrava Experimental and Teaching Forest Enterprise Vaišvydavos district. The aim - to set Norway spruce wood mechanical properties and modulus of elasticity, by nondestructive and destructive methods, and determine their mutual relations. Working methods - data on spruce modulus and mechanical properties were collect by using acoustic tomography Arbotom 3D LIGNOSTATION and TEST-FORM 500KN equipment belonging to the Joint Research Centre Nemunas valley. The data was collected in Dubrava experimental teaching FE Vaišvydavos district of 70th square 20th area. The study measured and cut 7 trees of which 21 logs were cut i.e. from each tree 3 logs were made: the butt, middle and apical part of the stem. Chit measured acoustic tomography Arbotom 3D. Density has been studied in 42 cuts from each log's lower and upper part, through Nemunas Valley LIGNOSTATION equipment. The static elastic module of 140 samples were broken with Nemunas Valley Equipment TEST-FORM 500KN aid. The samples obtained from small logs of 50x100x1000 mm dimensions. The collected data was processed using MS Excel, Proteus, Arbotom programs. The study was to use the following general methods: document analysis, data aggregation, modeling, logical, comparison, generalization. Results - The average mechanical properties of the parameters change in the stem height in relation to the different indexes were found not uniform. Wood density increases from the butt end toward the tip, but from the middle of the stem begins to decline. The sound speed and dynamic modules consised in a rising step structure. Static modules over the entire height of the mast remains relatively constant, while the flexural strength declined steadily from the butt towards the top. Searching for communication between the modules of elasticity and other mechanical properties showed that the static module is more dependent on the speed of sound R2 = 0.458, than the density R2 = 0.05. Moderate link was found between dynamic and static elastic modules R2 = 0.491. The correlation coefficient 0.68. One of the strongest dependencies, as the study showed, was between static modules of elasticity and resistance and static bending, where in R2 = 0.774.
