Tėvų požiūris į pradinių klasių mokinių fizinį aktyvumą
Magistro baigiamąjį darbą sudaro įvadas, literatūros apžvalga, tyrimų metodika, tyrimų rezultatai ir jų apibendrinimas, išvados ir darbe naudotos literatūros sąrašas (49 šaltiniai). Darbas iliustruotas 21 paveikslu, 14 lentelių, 9 priedais. Darbo apimtis – 56 puslapiai (su priedais). Tyrimo objektas: vaikų fizinis aktyvumas. Tyrimo tikslas: atskleisti tėvų požiūrį į 7-11 metų vaikų fizinį aktyvumą. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Atlikti teorinę literatūros analizę apie fizinio aktyvumo naudą, tėvų požiūrį į vaikų fizinį aktyvumą. 2.
Master Graduation Thesis contains an introduction, literature review, research methodology, research findings, conclusions and a list of references (49 references). The paper is illustrated by 21 figures, 14 tables and 9 appendixes. There are 56 pages including appendixes in total. Research object: child’s physical activity. Research aim: to disclose parental attitude towards physical activity of 7-11years children. Objectives: 1. To perform an analysis of theoretical literature about benefits of physical activity and parental attitude towards children’s physical activity. 2. To find out physical activity of 7-11 year-old children after school per day. 3. To assess parents’ knowledge about benefits of physical activity of 7-10 year-old children. 4. To reveal whether parents encourage their children to be more active physically. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature; quantitative study – a survey. Research results: Part One presents theoretical analysis of scientific literature which aims at revealing how parents affect the physical activity of primary schoolchildren (7 – 11 years old). Part Two introduces a quantitative study. Two schools in Kaunas District were selected: Jonuciai Progymnasium and Ugnes Karvelis Gymnasium where individual survey was performed. In total 648 questionnaires were distributed to schoolchildren’s parents in forms 1 – 4. Part Three discusses the results of the questionnaire (primary school pupils’ physical activity, parental influence on pupils’ physical activity, parenting style). The main conclusions: summarization of questionnaire data demonstrates that the hypothesis are proved: (H1) - the results show that the higher level of parents education is, the more likely their children in a primary school go to sports clubs (p = 0.001) when compared with children whose parents have college or secondary education only (p = 0.007). (H2) - parents with higher education generally believed that children should be more than an hour a day physically active (p = 0.001).
