Straipsnyje analizuojama vaikų fizinio rengimo mokyklai sampratos raida ir jai darantys įtaką veiksniai, atskleidžiama šios mokslinės problemos svarba, išryškinami vaikų adaptacijos sunkumai, sveikatos, fizinio aktyvumo pokyčiai jiems pradėjus lankyti mokyklą. Taigi praplečiama vaikų fizinio rengimo mokyklai samprata ir pateikiamos pagrindinės jo sudedamosios dalys.
Fluent physical development, good psychomotor performance, sound health may help the child to adjust easier and learn successfully at school. A lot of first formers experience adaptation problems, they complain of various health disorders, they are often ill. It disturbs their learning process. Children’s physical training for school is still considered very narrowly. It has not been explored as a system. Only separate parts of it has been explored. Scientific investigations show that 44,3 percent of the first formers have asymmetric posture, 16,5 present among they have early scoliosis signs. When children begin attending school, the amount of their physical activities decreases. The physical activity of the primary school pupils is low. The development of fine motor and psychomotor in 5-7 year olds is not satisfactory.The scientific literature studies let conclude that children’s physical training for school is a very important part of children’s preparation for school, and it can improve their psychomotor development and health. We can list these children’s physical training for school part: health education (elementary health knowledge, beliefs, skills of healthy lifestyle); psychomotor training; independent physical stimulation; correct posture training; communication and corporation training; secure and healthy behavior training.
