Formation (development) of strategy for a care institution for children with special needs

Abstract

Public and social changes in modern society determine changes in management of child care institutions. It acquires the nature of strategic management facilitating anticipation and implementation of the purpose, objectives and tasks of an organization. The article analyses the steps for planning and implementation of the socialization strategy for special needs children in social care institutions. The development of the process of an institutional strategy covers 12 years of the institutional management, during which justification of composite strategic parts was revised and verified through various scientific surveys confirming effectiveness of the socialization strategy for the disabled children. The experience in implementing the institutional strategy is based on an in-depth and extensive analysis of the scientific literature, which influenced the development of an original strategic management model for a childcare institution.
