Straipsnyje aptariami žmogaus dvasinio tapsmo teoriniai pamatai, ryškinami dvasinių, ypač estetinių, vertybių internalizacijos ypatumai bei sąsajos su asmens dvasiniu centru. Apibendrinti įvairių tipų mokyklų paauglių dvasinių vertybių internalizacijos rezultatai lyginami su menų gimnazijos paauglių duomenimis.
Spiritual formation is an essential part of a human being and is embodied in the values of truth, goodness and beauty. They are all interrelated, however, aesthetic values are of special importance because of the particularity of the object, as they are connected with a person’s spiritual centre to the most extensive degree. Most deeply internalized by teenagers are moral values: sensibility, dignity, honesty. Comparing the internalisation of spiritual values at Art gymnasium and other types of schools, superiority of young artists in the dimension of beauty is obvious: they are more sensitive to beauty, more open to novelties, but they are also superordinary, although to a less propotion, to other teenagers in the embodiment of wisdom (the dimension of truth), authenticity, sympathy and tolerance (the dimension of goodness). Art gymnasium teenagers’ acquisition of the values of faith and those moral values, which convey personal relations with micro surroundings (perfomance of duties, faithfullness, respectfulness), is draging at all levels of internalisation. When no more profound links between aesthetic and religious values are formed their link with moral values is getting weaker too; whereas potential possibilities to a rouse them by means of art are considedrable.
