The article determines man’s place in the educational activity; emphasizes the defining role of education in the formation of outlook of personality.The condition of modern scientific research and their impaction society is considering. Autorė straipsnyje aptaria švietimo ir mokslo vaidmenį formuojantis asmenybei. Straipsnyje bandoma nustatyti žmogaus vieta švietimo sistemoje, apibrėžiamas švietimo vaidmuo, analizuojami šiuolaikiniai moksliniai tyrimai šia tema. Atkreipiamas dėmesys į asmens formavimo reikšmę šiuolaikiniame pasaulyje, akcentuojant mokslo žinias ir švietimo svarbą šiame procese.
