Žmonių bendravimas per paskutiniuosius du dešimtmečius tapo ypatingu mokslininkų, kalbos tyrėjų dėmesio objektu. Globalizacijos procesai sustiprino bendravimą tarp šalių su skirtingu išsivystymo lygiu, tuo pačiu išryškino bendrų socialinės sąveikos normų kūrimo poreikį. Akivaizdu, kad komunikacijos efektyvumui didžiausią įtaką daro bendravimo etikos normos, kurias savo ruožtu sąlygoja visuomeniniai ir moraliniai žmonių kalbinio elgesio principai. Kalbos komunikacijos tyrinėjimai padeda geriau suprasti adresanto ketinimus, pašnekovų sąveikos charakterį ir jų bendravimo ypatumus. Mandagumo taisyklės kartu su bendradarbiavimo nuostatomis yra veiksmingo ir tikslingo bendravimo sėkmės garantas. Mandagumo ir bendradarbiavimo principų supratimas yra esminis veiksnys, užtikrinantis sėkmingą tarpasmeninę komunikaciją įvairiais lygmenimis. Taigi ši tema yra aktuali asmenybės ugdymo ir kalbų mokymo problema.
During the last two decades human communication has become a topic of interest for language analysts. Globalization processes embrace countries with different levels of development and humanity as a whole needs common norms of societies interaction. Its efficiency is determined by sticking to the ethic norms of communication that are based on socio-ethical principles of language behavior. The study of language communication in this context helps in determining various principles connected with the communication intention of the addresser, character of communicants’ interaction and peculiarities of their communication. Rules of politeness in combination with cooperation attitude assist in achieving effective and felicitous communication. Understanding the effect politeness and cooperation principles produce will benefit interpersonal communication on different levels. Hence this subject is germane and most topical to education in general and language teaching in particular.
