Broader perspectives : 35 years of liberal arts in Lithuania

Abstract

“Broader Perspectives” is an English-language informational publication of VMU aimed at the University’s international partners. The publication features interviews with VMU scholars and other specialists, as well as discussions on scientific projects being implemented at the University, innovations, the “Artes Liberales” study model, and the University’s values. This is the second issue of “Broader Perspectives”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of VMU’s re-establishment and to the concept of “Artes Liberales”. The first issue, published in 2022, was dedicated to commemorating the centennial of the University of Lithuania. „Broader Perspectives“ yra VDU informacinis / reklaminis leidinys anglų kalba, skirtas universiteto užsienio partneriams. Leidinyje publikuojami interviu su VDU mokslininkais ir kitais specialistais, aptariami universitete įgyvendinami moksliniai projektai, inovacijos, „artes liberales“ studijų modelis ir universiteto vertybės. Tai antrasis „Broader Perspectives“ numeris, skirtas VDU Atkūrimo 35-mečiui ir „artes liberales“ koncepcijai. Pirmasis numeris, išleistas 2022 m., buvo skirtas Lietuvos universiteto šimtmečiui paminėti.
