Pranas Dovydaitis - "sovietinio teisingumo" auka

Abstract

The article presents the investigation of the 1940-1942 year material about Prof. Pranas Dovydaitis, the founder and editor of journal Soter". It was the last professor's life period, spent in Siberia, the concentration camp, The researth is made on the ground of the newest archival material. Soviet Security started to collect the material about Prof. Dovydaitis from 14th May 1941. On 14th June the same year Professor was arrested and deported to Siberia. On 18th July 1942 professor was condemned for active work in concentration camp. He was condemned ti be shot down on the ground of RTFSR criminal code 58-2; 58-4; 58-10 and 48-11. The death sentence was fulfilled on 4th November 1942. Prof. Pranas Dovydaitis was exonerated on 16th January 1989. The documents, presented in the article, stand for the obvious reveal of the offences of "Soviet Justice".
