Straipsnyje analizuojami tam tikri atsirandantys ir besivystantys grožinės literatūros stiliaus formavimosi procesui būdingi bruožai viduramžių epochoje. Tyrimas pagrįstas viduramžių Europos literatūriniais tekstais. Straipsnio tikslas – išsiaiškinti santykį tarp abipusiai ir artimai susijusių reiškinių, t.y. tarp stiliaus, teksto ir diskurso. Teorinis pagrindas pateikiamas prieš praktinę analizę. Analizei pasitelktas įvairių lingvistinių ir ne lingvistinių metodų kompleksas, t.y. lyginamasis metodas, literatūrinė analizė, tarpdiskursinės analizės elementai bendrojo istorinio požiūrio rėmuose, kurie buvo pritaikyti diskurso poetikai atskleisti. Kai kurie Dž. Čoserio „Kenterberio pasakojimų“ fragmentai buvo panaudoti kaip tyrimo medžiaga. Sprendžiant iškeltus uždavinius buvo kreipiamas dėmesys į erdvės ir laiko faktorių, o taip pat etninius kūrinio momentus. Šis straipsnis – tai įnašas į bendrąją stiliaus teoriją.
The article dwells on the matter of emerging and developing some sorts of characteristic features specific for the process of the belles-lettres style phenomenon. The research is based on the medieval texts of the European works of literature dated by the end of the Middle Ages epoch. The research procedure is held as aimed to clarify the essence of co- as well as relative relationship of mutually and closely connected phenomena, i.e. ‘style – text – discourse’. Before the very procedure of analyzing the mentioned phenomena some theoretical matters of general character are considered in order that a certain kind of theoretical basis should be constructed. The described procedure calls for the use of a complex of various methods of both linguistic proper and non- linguistic nature, i.e. comparative, literary analysis, elements of inter-dicursive analysis within the general historical approach applied to the phenomena of discourse poetics under study. Some textual fragments taken from ‘The Canterbury Tales’ by J. Chaucer are served as a material basis of the research. While solving the determined tasks one should bury in mind spatio-temporal factors as well as ethnically specified ones. The suggested article may be believed as a kind of contribution to the general theory of style as well as its particular aspects.
