Straipsnyje pateikiamas popiežiaus Jono Pauliaus II enciklikoje Veritatis splendor išdėstytas mokymas apie prigimtinę teisę. Parodoma, kaip enciklika sujungia Naująjį įstatymą su krikščionišku moraliniu mokymu. Pažvelgiama į moralinį gyvenimą iš veikiančio asmens pozicijos.

In the article is given the teaching on natural law explored by John Paul II in the encyclical Veritatis Splendor. It is shown how the encyclical re-integrates the doctrine of the New Law within Christian moral teaching. A look is taken at the moral life from the point of view of the acting person.
