Šiame straipsnyje pateikiama dvasingumo samprata, aptariama dvasinio tapsmo ir tautiškumo sąsajos. Jos grindžiamos XX a. filosofine pedagogine mintimi ir dabartinių paauglių, VII-IX klasių moksleivių, diagnostiniu tyrimu. Duomenys lyginami su kitoms Europos šalims būdingais tautinio identiteto poslinkiais.
Teenagers’ spiritual becoming is closely related to life of the nation. Therefore, in philosophical psichological literature, the place of national consciousness, patriotism and nationalism in the process of education, and their content are being discussed.
By means of diagnostical research the world outlook of teenagers (the pupils of the VH-IXth forms) for the nation was established. The data revealed that teenagers’ world outlook for the nation is not very favourable. The majority of the testees (51 percent) expressed rather negative world outlook (morally neutral, worthless values dominate). 40 percent of the testees positively evaluated the nation’s present state and its future. Only 1 percent of the teenagers evaluated their nation at the highest rate.
The VII—IXth formers’ world outlook for the nation statistically significantly interacts with spiritual (truth, goodness and beauty) values, bur the scope of this interaction is very narrow. The closest links are with faith and altruism, close links are with dignity and love of beauty. There are no statistically significant links with wisdom, inventiveness, honesty, responsibility, and solidarity.
Teachers may influence teenagers' world outlook for the nation the most. No any statistically significant links with contemporaries and parents are established. National education has to be the prioretical aim of education.
