Profesoriaus J. Laužiko mokslinio pedagoginio palikimo studijos ir veikla rodo, kad visus jo darbus vienija viena iš reikšmingiausių idėjų žmogaus ugdymo procese - tai asmens laisvės, proto ir kūrybiškumo interpretacija asmenybės tapsme. Laisvės, proto ir kūrybiškumo interpretacijos būtinumas ir galimybės J. Laužiko kūryboje aptartos visuose ugdymo proceso etapuose: pažinime, turinyje, procese ir rezultatuose.
Work is dedicated to analyze life and scientific activity of professor J. Laužikas. Aim of the work - to look at some aspects of prof. J. Laužikas life and scientific activity in the context of modern-day education. Objects foreseen: - to discuss J. Laužikas’ notion on an origin of perception of person’s liberty, intelligence and creativity in the process of personality development and upbringing; - to an alyze operating factors of personality becoming, importance of their integration within upbringing; - to highlight the main provisions of person’s and society’s integrity in education. Conclusions: While summarizing problems analyzed in the work, reflecting prof. J. Laužikas life, activity, working facts and situations, remembering his written and verbal insights for the development of Lithuanian education, we can affirm that: - realizing an influence of natural factors and environment of early development to the personality becoming, the main attention should be paid to nurturing an integral person’s liberty, intelligence and creativity, since neglect of either of segment infringe the process of person’s completeness; - perceiving the plenty of operating factors of personality becoming, in organizing and possessing the process of upbringing it is necessary to regard their integrity; - in realizing mission of education with the help of pedagogical process professor J. Laužikas names the main provisions of upbringing to be: deep cognition of an individual, interconnection of operating factors of person’s becoming with the past generation, present cultural existence and future possibilities, “true-life disengagement” of upbringing process, continual creativity, educator’s responsibility in front of himself, individual, society, nation and etc.
