Emotions is a particular sphere of the child development, that begins functioning from the very first days of the child’s life and has a great influence on the whole developmental quality at the later stages of life. The lack of emotional stimulation is a risk factor for emotional, behavioral, social, and cognitive disorders at a later age. In our research, we tried to find answers to the following questions: 1. What are the peculiarities of emotional reactions of infants brought up in an Infant Home? 2. How much can education influence the development of emotional reactions? The aim of our research is to reveal effectiveness of a pedagogical input for emotional reactions of infants who are at-risk according to the low birth weight, prematurity and neurological disorders. We realized, that children who are brought up in an Infant Home are not homogenous according to their emotional reactions. Different emotional reactions are observed according to the child’s risk group. The dynamics of emotional reactions is significant for the children with a low birth weight and those prematurely born.
