Straipsnyje detaliai analizuojama rizikos sąvoka, aptariama rizikos esmė planinėje ekonomikoje. Taip pat atkreipaimas dėmesys į valstybės mokesčių pajamų praradimus bei turtinius praradimus susijusius su rizika. Autoriai pateikia keletą rizikos apskaičiavimo metodų.

In the article the notion of risk is discussed in detail, the idea of existence of risk even in the planned economy is put forward. The losses in the revenues and in the wealth connected with the notion' of risk are considered. The methods of calculating risk of different kind are suggested.
