Straipsnyje nagrinėjama penktų-šeštų klasių mokinių šokio gebėjimai, aiškinamasi jų ugdymo ypatumai, atsižvelgiant į vieną svarbiausių šiuolaikinio švietimo uždavinių - asmens kompetencijos bendrojo lavinimo mokykloje ugdymą. Mokslinės literatūros analizė išryškino šokio gebėjimų svarbą ugdymo procese, orientuotame j asmens kompetenciją, tačiau Lietuvos šokių mokytojų apklausos duomenys parodė, kad šokio gebėjimų ugdymo situacija nėra palanki plėtotis mokinio bendrosioms kompetencijoms. Esminiai žodžiai: šokio gebėjimai, šokimas, šokio kūryba, interpretavimas, asmens kompetencija.
The article deals with the problem of students dance skills education as an important part of arts education in a comprehensive school. In the context of personal competences development as one of the main goals of contemporary general education dance skills education is approached broader then in earlier years. Dance skills are interpreted as a complex object that includes manipulation of dance elements in dancing, dance making and dance interpretation. AU these components are important for students in developing their aesthetic perception skills and basic personal competences. Using dance skills to express their inner experience and ideas students expand their range of skills not only in arts, but also basic skills, such as communication, cognitive, creative or social skills. Analyzing situation of organizing education process of students dance skills in schools survey of dance teachers was organized. It was found out that most of dance teachers don t understand the structure of dance skills. Dance activities range used in education process is very limited: students are involved only in the processes of performing avoiding creative work and appreciating processes. Concrete dances, usually Lithuanian folk dances, are used by dance teachers in dance skills education, and very rarely teachers use contemporary dance or other dance styles. Most of the teachers during dance education process use only tasks of showing certain dance steps and teaching students how to perform them in correct way technically and rhythmically. Not having understood main goal of dance education in comprehensive school teachers bristle with a lot of difficulties organizing interesting, effective and meaningful dance education process for students. They maintain that they lack appropriate skills, methods and experience in educating dance skills. The results of this research actuate deeper scientific research works in dance skills education domain.
