Straipsnyje analizuojami anglų kalbos frazeologiniai junginiai su komponentu „galva“. Frazeologiniai junginiai suskirstyti į kelias tematines grupes. Kadangi „galvos“ kaip žmogaus dvasinio centro suvokimas angliškoje kultūroje varijuoja, frazeologizmai su komponentu „galva“ gali turėti teigiamą arba neigiamą konotaciją.
Abstract (en)
The article deals with English phraseological units with the component ‘head’. These units are divided into several thematic groups. Since the perceptions of the head as the spiritual center of a human being are different in English culture, the phraseological units under discussion can carry either positive or negative connotation.
