Abstract

The activities completed by kayakers during the competition mezocycles are extremely important as they directly affect their competition results, therefore it is necessary to inspect the variables that influence the athletes’ progress. Objectives of the research: to investigate the preparation of professional kayak rowers during the competition mezocycles for the 2013 and 2014 world rowing championships; to complete a comparative analysis and distinguish the factors influencing the athletes’ preparation level.
